Going green (and beyond)
We are organizing the conference according to the Österreichisches Umweltzeichen für Green Meetings/Events criteria and are thrilled to have your support in creating an environmentally and socially responsible event.
For this reason, we are paying attention to different topics:
We encourage you to use an environmentally friendly mode of transportation to and from the location.
The Hofburg Vienna is situated in the center of Vienna and easily accessible by public transport.

By train:
Wien Westbahnhof (3km away) then U3 to Volkstheater
Wien Hauptbahnhof (3km away) then U1 to Stephansplatz
By subway:
U1 Stephansplatz ( 600 m away, intervals 2-8 minutes)
U2/U3 Volkstheater ( 200 m away, intervals 2-8 minutes)
By tram:
1, 71, D Ring, Volkstheater ( 250 m away, intervals 5-8 minutes)
By bus:
1A Michaelerplatz ( 300 m away, intervals 2-8 minutes)
If you cannot avoid using a car, or if you are arriving by plane, you can offset the resulting CO2 emissions through compensation payments.

Please opt, if possible, for a Umweltzeichen certified hotel. You can find the list with certified hotels here.
During the event, please separate and dispose of waste accordingly. There will be waste separation stations on-site.
In order to avoid unnecessary waste, we encourage you to present your admission ticket digitally and avoid printing it.

Impact Days 2024 is catered by Motto Catering, certified by the Österreichisches Umweltzeichen, which will provide us with high quality, local and seasonal vegetarian and vegan food.
